Leading with heart to rebrand a local nonprofit.
The Challenge: SPCA-NN recognized that Northern Nevada’s growing population would require increased pet needs. However, as a non-profit, the group relies heavily on donations to stay afloat. Often mistaken for the Nevada Humane Society, they lacked a brand differentiator to capture who they are as a regional organization and solidify
themselves in people’s minds.
The new logo utilizes a single stroke line to convey connection between homeless pets and loving families, underlining SPCANN’s close ties with the community and the impact it has on both owners and animals. A joyful and flexible-use color palette allows for a variety of executions to ensure the brand stays fresh and accommodates a variety of programs.
